Joan Widdifield – Film maker talks about RAINY SEASON set in post war VIETNAM with Donna Freed

Rainy Season is a documentary focusing on the Hoang family, rubber tree farmers in rural Vietnam whose son, Tien was killed age seven.   He was killed by unexploded American mortar leftover from the Vietnam War, an undeclared war still being waged by the Hoang familiy and families like them. Joan talks about how stories like the Hoangs changed her life and drove her to become a documentary filmmaker.
