Then we go to the London Book Fair where Rachel Johnson invited Josephine to come and meet the judges of The Woman’s Prize for fiction (formerly The Orange Prize). Josephine found out more about the history of the awards with Kate Mosse (Author of Labyrinth). Then Rachel explained how hard it is to try and remember 120 books. And lastly she chatted to gorgeous actress Miranda Richardson, Chair for this years awards.

In the midst of the bustling book fair Josephine bought Rachel a flat white and they discussed Rachel’s latest novel Winter Games which has just come out in paperback. Rachel explained to Josephine how it was the done thing for 1930s Debs to spend their gap year in Munich cavorting with the Third Reich. Josephine found out how Rachel was inspired to write the book, Josephine also discussed Maggie Thatcher’s style and Rachel’s rising public profile.
