  1. Maroney Denis says:

Amanda Owen works very hard for her family and is a good
    writer, wife and mother.
Amanda takes far too much credit for the running of Ravenseat Farm and I find this most disrespectful to her family, particularly her husband Clive.
I think she works hard but feel she is not being honest regarding the amount of work it takes to run Ravenseat Farm and how much help she gets to enable her to write books, be a full time shepherdess, run a home, run a B&B and do cream teas and go to events to promote her books.

There will always be mealy mouthed people like you who will by impaired logic attempt to denigrate the achievements of others. In my opinion Amanda does not in any way belittle or devalue the amount of work that Clive puts in, who it would appear does not seek the limelight and is a great strength behind an equal partnership. What you see here is a partnership that has recognised the need to make money while the hay shines. They use their assets as entrepreneurs to look to the future. Both Clive and Amanda are an example of hard work ingenuity and application. Perhaps be a little kinder.
